New Year's Day Socks

Yesterday I finished the pair of socks I was working on since New Year's Day. These New Year's Day Socks are made for Alexa, in Panda Cotton 0413. She actually bought the yarn for a pair of wristwarmers... LOL! Size is 9" and I worked away 340 yards of yarn.

Yesterday I was watching the New Year's Concert on tv, which is annualy coming from the Goldene Saal in Vienna. I was surprised by the beauty of the flowers, in orange and red. That reminded me of the fact that Alexa had bought two skeins of Panda Cotton, in which orange, green and red are the main colours. I started a pair... and this morning I turned the heel. It is looking nice thus far.
